Finely we're getting the warmth we've been waiting for. For the last few weeks it's been in the 50s and low 60s. Today it's supposed to get to nearly 70, and it's already warmed up nicely. It's in the mid 60s I'd say, and the windows are all opened. There is still a bit of a chill in the air, but it's not bad at all.
Well some American league central news for you. The Detroit Tigers were beaten by the Minnesota Twins 9 to 4. Tonight they play in Comerica park at 7:05 eastern.
The Cleveland Indians fall to a 7 game losing streak, losing 12 to 9 to the Texas Rangers. In this game the Indians starting pitcher Fausto Carmona was Injured with a hip strain. More on it in this article from mlb.com
Carmona leaves with left hip strain. That's too bad, I hope he'll be ready for his next start, and be just fine. These things happen, it is a part of playing the sport, but still! It could have been worse, but still... The Chicago White Sox lose to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 3 to 1.
