अ न्यू ब्लॉग...

I haven't written in here in a while. I will write more soon, but I wanted to tell about a new blog I created at MLB blogs. I didn't even know until the other day you can do that. I thought that was reserved for only sports writers and things. But nope, all of us can ramble on about our favorite baseball teams on MLB if we want. Not that my insight is anything special, but I like to write, and if no one reads it, I enjoy writing, so it'll be there, and that is that, *giggles*!

So for those of you that are bored to death about baseball, and would rather not hear about the Tigers, you can go to my MLB blog about the Tigers, and other things baseball that are on my mind. For those of you that don't give a darn care, well, ignore this post, *smiles*! Not that all that many folks read this, but if anyone has, or does, now you know, and if no one knows or cares, it's written out there anyways.

Bottom of the forth, Tigers 6, giants 1.

Tigers get out of that situation, more later, my room mate is gonna use the computer, but, Tigers win!!!  Score, 5 1 Tigers!

9th inning score.

Score is currently 5 to 1tigers.  And oh my!  Marcus Thames goes deep yet again!  He now has 13 home runs on the season!  More later...  Jones in a bit of trouble now, bases loaded, and no one out!

Score: 8th inning.

Tigers 2
San Francisco 1.  They got that run due to a home run by Ryan Raburn.  Knocked out Sanchez the giants pitcher.  Inning still ongoing. Oh and now it changes, it is now 3 to 1.  Inning still ongoing.

Edgar Renteria gets the 2000th hit of his career!!!

Oh what in the heck is wrong with me!  I forgot to mention a very important fact.  Tonight our shortstop Edgar Renteria got the 2000th hit of his career!  Way to go Edgar!  That's awesome!

Oh, and the score is now tied.  It's currently 1 to 1 and we're going to the 7th, tigers now up to bat. Miguel Cabrera gets a double, but is thrown out trying to get home after a sacrifice fly from Marcus Thames that had moved him up to 3rd, but next batter, and he's out.  Tigers fail to score in the 7th.

Score in the 6th.

Now for the score: Game current score Detroit 1 to San Francisco 0.  It was scoreless until the 6th.  For a while the Tigers were darn no hit!  But they finely got a hit.  I don't think they got one until the 6th, but don't quote me on that.

Our doctor visit.

I haven't been in here in a while.  I thought I'd stop buy to this blog and say hey, lol!

Not really much going on around here.  It was fairly warm here last week, nearly in the 90s Fahrenheit!  Today it only got in the very low 70s.  So it's kind of cool now.

The Tigers lost there game last night to the San Francisco Giants 8 to 6.  It was a good game though.  It snapped a 6 game winning streak for the tigers.  They had swept the Chicago White Sox, then they swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the very next series.  Poor Justin Verlander , He can't seem to win this year.  He left the game last night with a 4/3 lead, but our bullpen couldn't hold it.  Oh well, you can't win them all.  Tonight Kenny Rogers will be on the mound for us, and he's been doing pretty well in his last few starts.  So hopefully we can pull out a win tonight.

Right now there playing inner league play.  It's pretty cool.  Some don't like it, but I do.  I think it's interesting to for one thing see our pitchers bat.  Usually a pitcher doesn't bat well and are typically a sure out, but it's still interesting for me to see what they will do.  Not seeing that in the American league as they use the designated hitter  (DH) makes it something different for us to see in the game for those of us that follow the American league.

When the Tigers get finished in San Francisco they will get Thursday off, and on Friday they get Alison's San Diego Padres.  I get to pick on her all weekend, hahahahahahahahaha!  The Padres are her favorite team being from San Diego and all.  Her second favorite team (as her boyfriend is from Minnesota) is them pesky AL central rivals of ours Them Minnesota Twins

We pick on one another about that; of course it's all in good fun.  We have real fun when the Tigers play the Twins!

Greg and I went to the doctor today and had our yearly physicals.  I hate them!  They have to be done though.

I don't know if I've mentioned Greg in this blog before, but he's my room mate.  He's like a little brother (he's a year younger than me) but very close friends is all we are.  He even had a girl live here for 6 months.  He's not my type in that way.  I love him, but not in that way; more as a brother.  I've lived with him for a long time now, and trust him extremely well, but he's not my man.  I tell people this, because some automatically think because we live together we're lovers.  Nope, no drama there *giggles*!

Gotta go back to the doctor in 2 weeks to get our results.  I had blood drawn, and some other tests too.  Just the lovely things they do when you have a physical done.

Well, not anymore to tell really.  More later.

Warmth coming to us, finely!

Finely we're getting the warmth we've been waiting for.  For the last few weeks it's been in the 50s and low 60s.  Today it's supposed to get to nearly 70, and it's already warmed up nicely.  It's in the mid 60s I'd say, and the windows are all opened.  There is still a bit of a chill in the air, but it's not bad at all.

Well some American league central news for you.  The Detroit Tigers were beaten by the Minnesota Twins  9 to 4.  Tonight they play in Comerica park at 7:05 eastern.
The Cleveland Indians fall to a 7 game losing streak, losing 12 to 9 to the Texas Rangers.  In this game the Indians starting pitcher Fausto Carmona was Injured with a hip strain.  More on it in this article from mlb.com
Carmona leaves with left hip strain.  That's too bad, I hope he'll be ready for his next start, and be just fine.  These things happen, it is a part of playing the sport, but still!  It could have been worse, but still...

Them Kansas City Royals lose to the Toronto Blue Jays 7 to 1.  An article on it: Halladay, Blue Jays stop Royals 7-1 (AP).

Well that's all for now.  We shall see what evolves today!

Realizing a mistake.

When I was naming the 5 teams in the American league Central, somehow I left out the Chicago White Sox.  Although I did mention them after I had written up the list, forgot to mention them in that list of the American League 5.  Oopsy!

Posting, finely!

Well, I haven't posted here in a while.  So I thought I would.

Not a hole lot new here, just life going on as usual.

It seems that warm weather has been hard to come by here this spring.  It's stayed around the 50s in the last few weeks here in Michigan.  Finely we're headed for a warm up into the 70s this weekend, yay!

My Tigers haven't been doing so hot lately.  There Last in the American League Central at 20 and 27.  Not so hot!

However, they just got finished with a sweep of the Seattle Mariners which is way cool!  Tonight It's on to them Minnesota Twins!  We shall see how they do against them.  We swept them in Comerica park the first time we faced them in a 2 game series.  They swept us in a 3 game series we played in the metro dome.  So it should prove interesting.  I hope our Tigers can keep up the good work!  We shall see!

I have met a really cool person on Philmore (a phone system Greg and I are on).  Philmore has people of all walks of life on it, but for the most part it is visually impaired folks.  A few sighted folks, but not many.

Her name is Alison, and she has become my best friend!  She's awesome, and we have way a lot in common.  She's a darn Minnesota Twins fan, and San Diego Padres fan!  She is from San Diego, and has been a Padres fan for years.  She became a darn Twins fan when she started hanging out with her current boyfriend that lives in Minnesota.  She's gotten attached to them Twins, and I'm having fun teasing her about them.  We have fun with it, Seeing there in the same division as our Tigers.

For anyone that isn't certain, or wants to know, the central has 5 teams in it.  They are: the Detroit Tigersthe Cleveland Indians (who almost took it all the way last year) the Minnesota Twins, and the Kansas City Royals.  The only saving grace for the Tigers is our division is very close, with the Indians struggling quite a lot this year as well.  So it's still anyone's race.  No one is out of it yet, with still a lot of baseball yet to be played.  Currently in first place is the Chicago White Sox, with a record of 26 and 20.  They have won 8 in a row, with the Indians losing the last 6 in a row.

The animals are doing well.

Mom and Joe are doing well.  I just got done last week spending nearly a week with them.  Rachel and I went to visit mom for mother's day, and I stayed there for 5 days, before Rachel met her half way last Saturday and I came home.

Well, that's it for now.  More later!

Oh, don't know that I've mentioned it in here, but mom lives 3 hours away, since her and Joe retired, and got a modular home put up on there property up north.  It's a very nice place they got up there, and there home is beautiful!

Spring training!

It's been a while since I wrote in here.  So I thought I'd write a little in here tonight.

Spring training has started, and in-order that we can listen to the spring training games that are on, Greg and I subscribed to Gameday Audio
